Alfa Romeo Duetto

1969

1969 Alfa Romeo Duetto

This is an 1969 Alfa Duetto ’round tail’ Spider by Pinin Farina restored with an upgraded high performance 2-liter engine.

Exterior: White

Interior: Black

The vehicle has been repainted it’s original white on a very straight body with excellent gaps at all panels. There is no evidence of rust or damage and it has a clear California title. Using high performance components with cams that give good mid-range power instead of at high RPM like racing motors making it a pleasure to drive on the street. The Spica injection system works perfectly and the car starts with the first turn of the key even when cold.

The transmission has been completely rebuilt and shifts flawlessly in all gears. The suspension is tight and the exhaust has a pleasing sound but not overly loud. New Pirelli P-4 tires are mounted on restored Cromodora star wheels.
The interior has been correctly restored and all gauges and switches work properly. The top and tonneau are in good condition and fit well. All the stainless trim, bumpers, rubber molding, and glass are in very good condition with only some minor pitting on the windshield.

The Duetto is great fun to drive with the additional power of the performance 2-liter compared to a stock 1750. It is smooth around town but with 40% more mid-range power it really accelerates when needed. Great for freeway cruising or fun on the twisty back roads.
